10+ Years of Surfing Experience: With over 10 years of surfing experience across some of Indonesia’s most renowned surf destinations—Lombok, Bali, Java, and Sumbawa—Head Coach Bagong brings a wealth of knowledge to every lesson. After years of teaching and coaching in Bali and beyond, Bagong chose to work closer to home at Lombok Surf Camp. This experience deepened his connection to the local surf scene and gave him the confidence to start his own surf school, Ctrl Surf.

Certified and Knowledgeable: Certified with a Level 2 ISA (International Surfing Association) qualification, Bagong combines technical expertise with a thorough understanding of surf theory. His goal isn’t just to help you catch waves, but to teach you how to read them, build the confidence to surf independently, and equip you with the knowledge to stay safe in the water.
